Session 2/Halloween Schedule
Session 2 is upon us!!!
Gymnastics dates are: October 3 - November 5
Swim dates are: October 3 - November 5 (no Swim Oct. 10-15) prorated session
Tampa Bay Turners Will be closed for afternoon classes only on Halloween. These classes have been rescheduled as follows:
- Gym classes are recheduled for Monday, November 21st at your regular gym time.
- Swim classes are rescheduled for Friday, October 28th at your regular swim time.
Notice
Due to a severe power outage our pump and motor for the Pool are not functioning properly.
Swim Classes will be CLOSED this week July 11-17.
Swim Session will begin July 18 for 5 weeks ending on August 20.

Brad Harris: Coach of the Year!
2011 NATIONAL COACH of the YEAR is awarded to Brad Harris and the entire TBT staff!
Congratulations on this prestigious honor and accomplishment!
Brad will be presented with this award at the USA Visa Championships competition in St. Paul, Minnesota on August 17-20, 2011.

A big Congratulations to Brad Harris and the team staff of TBT for earning the honor of Region 8 Coach/Program of the year!
Region 8 is made up of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, N. Carolina, S. Carolina and Tennessee.
By receiving this prestigious title Brad will be in the running for National JO Coach of the Year to be decided following Level 10 Nationals in Long Beach, California.
Level 10 Nationals are to be held this weekend, May 13 - May 15. Good luck to all of the coaches and athletes.

Due to the severe weather on March 31st, all gymnastics and swim classes were cancelled.
In order to make up for these missed classes, we will be holding a make-up day for gymnastics on Friday,
April 8th and for swimming Friday, April 15.
Class times will remain the same EXCEPT for the Advanced gymnastics class, which will be held from
6:30 - 8:00 pm.
Thank you for your understanding and we hope you all stayed safe throughout the storm.

Tampa Bay Turners Competed in the USAG Florida State Championships this weekend in Lakeland for Levels 8, 9 and 10...
TBT concluded their winnings this weekend with 2 more State titles, meaning in 2010-2011 TBT WON 8 State Team Championships!!! TBT captured 5 of these titles in the past two weeks with their Optional Level team.
All of the TBT Gymnasts Levels 8, 9 and 10 have qualified to compete at their respective Regional Championships in April.

At the PO and L 7 State Championships held in Coral Springs on March 18-20, TBT Won 3 State Team Titles and had the top All Around gymnast in Prep Op - Mina Kim, and Level 7 – Sami Strickler. These two athletes had the highest AA totals out of the hundreds of gymnasts there.
TBT also had many individual State Champions!

Congratulations to Naomi DeVries and Sarah Wolford for signing their formal commitment papers to NCAA teams at TBT today. Sarah signed with Big Ten conference Iowa and Naomi signed with NC State of the ACC. Congratulations on years of hard work and well earned full ride scholarships.
